GOODTIMES MAGAZINE --- "Eddie was a pillar of consistancy as he cranked out demanding, soaring, melodic solos...How many notes can he play in a single measure (criminal justice masters degree)?!?!"

""Eddie was a pillar of consistancy as he cranked out demanding, soaring and melodic solos...How many notes can he play in a single measure" - was the ultimate verdict as the band were described by Goodtimes Magazine in the Summer of 2002.
While one of Eddie's custom made guitars was nearing completion, the technician had a Stevie Ray Vaughan video playing. Eddie was immediately drawn to the no-nonsence, no-gimmick approach to Stevies blues/boogie sound, and upon completion Eddie left with his new Axe, the Gilda video and renewed inspiration. Soon recruited to the band were the undeniable talents of
Freddie Taflock and New Yorks Premier percussionist Mark Gorman to provide the pounding rhythm section. Cold Shot is one of the many Gilda bands on tour throughout the states, but out shines the rest with a subtle difference...covering not only the classic Gilda hits, but also dusting off and revamping a few old Jimi Hendrix tunes which are performed with the mindset that Stevie Ray Vaughan would have covered them, had he still been alive.
From the trademark gambler hat to an exact replica of Stevie's beat up Strat,
Cold Shot strives to bring the audience the heart, passion and sould that could only be found in the spirit of one man, Stevie Ray Vaughan - online counselling courses.
